Orb coupler puzzles in the Devastated Settlement in Jedi Survivor

In the region of the Devastated Settlement on Koboh in Star Wars Jedi Survivor you have to pass puzzles with orb coupler. The description explains where to find 3 different orbs and how to deliver them to your devices, as well as how to use a new gadget - the crusher.

The Devastated Settlement is a problematic location in Star Wars Jedi Survivor. Our guide describes how to complete it for the first time - we suggest where the orbs are hidden and where to deliver them, how to use the crusher, and how to use orb couplers to destroy barricades and create new craters. This will allow you to get to the top shelf of the Devastated Settlement on the planet Koboh.

Reaching the Devastated Settlement on Koboh

The Devastated Settlement is one of the larger regions on Koboh. It is explored only after returning to this planet, i.e. when completing the mission objective from looking for information on Tanalorr in the Stone Spires.

In Devastated Settlement, you use relters to fly to remote shelves, and you must also defeat the bounty hunter Korej Lima before beginning the actual exploration.

A linear route will lead you to the Devastated Settlement meditation point.

Next to the meditation point, you can use the climbing rope and reach the higher ledge with the first inactive Orb Coupler. Your task is to deliver the orb to this device.

Jump to the adjacent shelf (above the meditation point). You will reach the entrance to the ruins.

In the new location, defeat the droids and use the Force pull on the box. This will unlock access to the shelf with the first orb.

In the first part of the room, use the Force on the rotating mechanism in the screenshot.

Reach the first orb now. Catch the orb with the Force and throw the ball through the large hole shown in the screenshot to the first part of the room.

Again, catch the orb and carry it further. You must return with the orb to the first orb coupler and place it in the device (a purple connection must appear).

Return to the orb coupling and interact with it. The coupling radius of the orb must destroy the first blockade shown in the picture.

A new crater will be unlocked, from which hot air is escaping. Jump down and grab a new relter. Fly towards the hot vapors. The flight altitude will increase and you can reach the shelf with the second orb coupler.

Again, you need to find and deliver an orb for the purpose of powering the device. Defeat the droids and enter the new ruins. Inside you must eliminate 2 large monsters.

Grab a large boulder with the Force and push it toward the weakened wall in the picture. An opening will be created, behind which there is an inactive orb amplifier.

Grab the orb to the right (the one that makes the energy stream active) and push it towards the amplifier you unlocked a moment earlier (a purple Traversable Gap must appear).

Go to the adjacent room. Interacting with the overgrown device in the picture will unlock a new gadget - the Koboh Grinder.

The grinder enables you to puff the substance. You must first activate the BD-1 mode (bottom direction on the pad's crossbar) and only then hold down the Koboh matter puff button (R2/RT on the pad).

Your goal is to set fire to black objects in the area - Koboh matter released by BD-1 after coming into contact with the energy beam can be set on fire and purple flames will appear.

By getting rid of the black growth, you can climb the vertical wall and return to the previous room.

Catch the orb again and move it to the initial location. There will be a new stream of energy in the room.

Start spraying Koboh matter. You must set fire to the new objects obstructing the exit (screenshot above).

Climb up, grab the orb and place it in the side slot shown in the screenshot.

Run over the wall, turn around and catch the orb again. You have to take it outside the ruins and put it in the second orb coupler.

You can already approach the orb coupler and direct the energy flow to the second barricade. Hot air will start coming out. Fly there with the help of a relter. You will reach the higher part of the ruins with the third orb coupler.

Third orb coupler in the Devastated Settlement

Land in a new part of the canyon, defeat more enemies and enter the ruins, where there is another enemy to eliminate.

There is an orb in one of the rooms, but the door closes when you try to pull the orb. Use the Force to pull down the large crate, then set the crate under the open door (example in the picture). This will make it impossible for the door to close all the way.

You can now take the orb, walk with it past the crate blocking the door and place it in the orb amplifier shown in the screenshot.

Start moving the crate again and leave it in place from the picture - a stream of energy should hit it.

You must now use the grinder again. Create a line of Koboh matter, which will connect the stream to the black mass to be set on fire.

By setting fire to the black blockade, you have unlocked an alternative exit from the ruins. Grab the orb once again and reach the third orb coupler with it. Traditionally, a purple Traversable Gap must appear.

Interact with the orb coupler and direct the energy stream to the third barricade in the picture.

All that's left is to grab onto a relter and use the airstream to reach the highest location in the Devastated Settlement, where you'll find, among other things, a new meditation point.
